Creativity is a treasured commodity for key leaders in business. It seems our busy, leaner companies don’t provide much time for this. What a shame….without creative leadership….are leaders perhaps better suited for sustainable leadership roles? We must find the time as leaders to reflect and allow for that creative thought process to come alive. So…find that space of solitude. Put yourself on your calendar….block out an hour twice a week….close your door and just do your thinking. And if that seems impossible….then try 1/2 an hour twice a week. Continuous leading ‘’on the fly’’ may be ripe for course correction time and time again….only adding to stress levels that are already likely in high gear.
